Core training is one of the most important things you can do as an endurance athlete. Having a strong core will help you run better, it will help improve your posture and help protect your lower back. You don’t have to spend a lot of time on core training. A 5 to 10 minute session 3 times a week is a perfect place to start. Do this as a timed circuit (30 seconds to 1 minute per exercise), three times through.
